About Us

Alan and Mindy Parks are the owners and proprietors of Alaska Ridgetop Inn.

Alan has been a commercial fisherman and professional photographer for over 30 years. He was also a senior staff member for the non-profit organization Alaska Marine Conservation Council, helping to foster and maintain sustainable fishing practices in Alaskan waters.

Mindy loves taking care of guests, with experience in the hospitality and health industries. She's an avid gardener and cook — you will often find her in the garden gathering freshly picked vegetables for daily meals.

Our daughter Ella and son Hoxie are the resident 11 and 12 year-olds. They know the Homestead Trail system well because it's right in our backyard, and if you ask nicely, they just might tell you where mom's secret blueberry patch is hidden!

Alaska Ridgetop Inn is a member of the Homer Chamber of Commerce.
