The Lodge
On the main floor of Alaska Ridgetop Inn you will find the central living areas. 10 foot windows support our vaulted ceilings, flooding the kitchen, dining room, living room and sunroom with light and scenic views. Our living room and sunroom overlook the pond and garden, offering views of moose and other wildlife congregating while majestic bald eagles soar overhead. Or you can gather around our old-fashioned wood cook stove and share our cozy hearthfire.
Guestrooms and a large common area are located on our ground floor. You can step right out to a green lawn from all rooms on this level. In the summer, our pond's sandy beach awaits; in winter, ski trails are mere steps away. All guestrooms at Alaska Ridgetop Inn have private entrances and private bathrooms. Large windows throughout allow the sun to pour in.
The main and ground floors are handicap accessible.Paradise and Fireweed rooms have handicapped accessible bathrooms.
Rooms
Alaska Ridgetop Inn offers three deluxe rooms all with private entrances and baths. A large inside common area nearby allows group gathering space. All rooms are filled with art from accomplished local Alaskan artists: Annette Bellamy, Alex Combs, Barb Wyatt, and Judy Winn, to name a few. All the outdoor entrances to our rooms have green lawns and flowers in the summer. In the winter, ski trails are groomed right outside the door for both skate and classic skiing. High picture windows with stunning views of Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet will complete your truly unique stay with us.
Alder Room
Our largest room is a bright airy room that features views of the distant snow-capped mountains. This room is ideal for families, couples traveling together, or a large fishing party. Our largest room faces toward Mt. Douglas, Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet. The entrance opens to a large lawn, garden, and pond where wildlife frequently visit. There is a dividing wall that creates two sleeping areas. Each sleeping area accommodates one king bed or two extra long twin beds. We can also equip this room with a comfortable pull out bed or two additional extra long twin beds, raising the number of occupants from four to a comfortable six. The large private bathroom has a bath and shower.

Fireweed Room
Look forward to a commanding view of blooming summer fireweed. Doors open out onto the garden with the ever-present Chugach mountains in the background. This large room can be set up with 1 king or 4 extra long twins. Up to 4 people can sleep comfortably. The large private bathroom has a bath and shower.

Spruce Room
Behold the view of wildflowers and the snow-capped mountains across the bay! The room entrance opens out to the majestic views afforded by our green lawn and our garden. Natural, Locally-Made Bath Products
All of our rooms feature locally made Alpenglow Skin Care products made from all natural ingredients. They have wonderful natural aromas and they will revitalize your body's healthy and radiant glow. We also offer this line of natural care products for sale in our retail corner.
Dining
Alaska Ridgetop Inn is a Bed & Breakfast. However, additional meals at the Inn are available - just let us know ahead of time. We specialize in promoting sustainable homegrown foods, keeping nutrition in mind and serving all organic fare. We serve fish harvested within Alaska, and seasonal vegetables grown in our organic garden or in other local gardens. Also offered are herbal teas, coffee, juice and fresh baked breads.
Please advise us of your special dietary needs and we will be happy to accommodate them.
Menu
Please note that breakfast is served everyday however lunch and dinner are available upon request.
Breakfast is served buffet style and includes hot and cold cereals, yogurt, fruit and a featured entrée, such as Vegetable Quiche.
Lunch brings soups and salads such as Summer Squash Soup with Salsa Verde and Buckwheat Noodles with Vegetables. Healthy packed lunches are provided for taking on explorations - just request them from the kitchen the day before.
Evening dinners are served family style at our inn. A meat or fish entrée and a vegetarian option are prepared each evening. Soup or salad will be followed with a featured dinner such as Grilled halibut with Rhubarb Chutney. Asian Inspired Tofu Curry and Vegetable Patties with Fresh Tropical Salsa are among the vegetarian entrées offered.
Beverages that we serve are non-alcoholic; you are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages to enjoy during your stay with us.
